Eastern Michigan University Choir - Conducted by Brandon Johnson, the Eastern Michigan University Choir is an auditioned mixed ensemble whose membership embodies EMU's diversity, with all majors invited. Whether preforming a renaissance mass setting, a baroque motet or an African American spiritual, the choir delights in well-crafted choral music. We provide concerts filled with the diversity of the choral repertoire and frequently perform the major master-works of the choral orchestral repertoire.  With a commitment to community engagement and performance beyond the boundaries of campus; the ensemble tours annually. The ensemble has toured throughout its long history with performances across Europe, Mexico, United Kingdom and the United States. From Carnegie Hall to high school classrooms, the EMU Choir commits itself to the highest level of artistry.

Oakland University Wind Symphony - The Oakland University Wind Symphony is the premiere auditioned concert band within the OU wind band program, performing a minimum of three performances per semester. Over the past decade, the OU Wind Symphony's range of performance activities has significantly diversified in terms of regional scope and comprehensiveness of repertoire. Comprised of approximately 50 members, membership in the OU Wind Symphony is determined by audition and is open to all Oakland University students. Graduates of the OU Wind Symphony: 1) are teaching music throughout the United States at the middle school, high school and university levels, 2) have continued their graduate education at many prestigious conservatory/university graduate programs throughout the United States and Europe, and 3) are performing professionally in a variety of chamber music, concert/brass band and orchestral settings.
